She did stand for taking the “L” with the hotel business. Instead, she became her own hero of her life Journey. She retooled and reskilled and is a better job. Sounds like she really enjoys it too. And that’s the real gem to her story. Her enthusiasm echoed throughout the show/podcast.

A few questions remain in my mind — is the 3 year salaried hump necessary, or could one jump straight into the freelance side of things? I love the sound of the freelancing, but truth is I dont want to spend 3 years doing the 40-50hrs/week. My income need is only about 30k starting out, which of course I would love to build on, but id happily trade the higher starting salary for complete freedom out the gate. Reasonable?
What im truly looking for is the flexibility to write my own schedule on a week to week basis, where some weeks I work 60hrs/week and really earn, some weeks where I work 5-10hrs/week just to maintain, and other weeks or months where I dont work at all. I feel that a 6 month contract may just be a bit too long for me. Is that possible working as a salesforce tech or is this a bad fit for my needs?
thanks ahead for any thoughts in reply!

I will check this out. I’m a long time listener of many years and this is my fave. podcast in the “side income” genre. Always useful info and there is def. something for everyone to start a side income.
