Upside (formerly known as GetUpside) is a free money making app that allows users to earn cash back on gas, groceries, and dining.
According to the Upside website, users have the opportunity to earn up to 25¢ per gallon on gas, 45% cash back at restaurants, and 30% cash back at participating grocery stores.
But is the app legit, or is this too good to be true?
How do you make extra money in a low-risk way? One method I keep coming back to is the idea of starting a consignment business.
So you’re selling other people’s stuff and just taking a percentage. They get paid, you get paid, and you’ve got no upfront inventory risk like you’d have with a traditional physical product business.

Ibotta is a money-making app that promises cash back rewards for shopping in-store and online. But is the app for real, or is it too good to be true?
Having been an Ibotta user since 2017 and earned hundreds of dollars in cash back, I can personally attest to the legitimacy of this app.
That said, it’s not all sunshine and rainbows. There are several things I dislike about Ibotta as well.
