So is the idea to simply make better looking listings on the same platform where an item is already being sold, mark it up so you can make a profit, and then fulfill it by purchasing it from the original listing?

It is against eBay policy. I’ve been a seller on eBay for over three years and I would never risk my account to do this. I also never give into a drop shippers demands. Most of them will waist your time haggling back and forth with horrible English which makes the whole process even harder after they buy the item they then demand you ship it in an unmarked box with nothing tying it back to your eBay account and demand the tracking number for the package. I don’t allow returns on most of the items I sell and I’ve had two drop shippers lie to eBay and try to get the item returned and all I have to do is tell eBay to read the messages from the buyers and they have always had my back. I’m not against it and I don’t mind taking the money but every seller I know has had at least one bad experience with drop shippers.

Great article! I use software cucomm for Facebook sales. It’s secure and doesn’t require you to enter a password from your account. The program automatically sends messages to users, which saves a lot of time. I will be glad if you want to try it.
