Thanks for this useful post. I’ve watched an interview of Georgia’s best practices on getting into Fiverr. Thanks for sharing great tips like having our friends and family be our first customers, using quality pictures, and low pricing. Thanks for letting us know the pros and cons of Fiverr and other agencies. I personally found this post to be very useful and will share this blog with my friends who need this. Looking forward to reading more posts of yours.

In reply to Susan. She has over 2000 gigs sold, let's say 2000, so to get to $500,000 she would need to make $250 on average for each, that seems very doable with her prices.

I’m confused. Looking at her profile – it doesn’t look like her order volume/reviews aligns with the income she’s describing. Am I missing something?

Hi Nick and Happy New Year!

I’d like to first say THANKS for all the content you’ve put out there :) I became a subscriber last year and I’ve learnt about so many fascinating new things.

I actually watched Georgia’s interview with Alex about a month ago and shared with a friend who’s interested in becoming a freelance copywriter… what he also noticed was there was a lack of explanation as to why she became so big so quickly (when others don’t) and ended up getting lots of writers to work for her – i.e. why can’t all those freelance writers working for her to the same?

My thoughts were that, while not an “outlier”, people like Georgia and Alex are at the very top tail end of the curve (97-99th percentile) in terms of earnings (if this weren’t so, they wouldn’t be a success story and there wouldn’t these interviews lol).

What are your thoughts on this?
